Webinar: Research-Based Best Practices as Building Blocks for High-Quality Online Courses

Date: Friday, March 12th
Time: 1:00 PM ET

This webinar describes how a CPED member institution created an initiative to promote quality in their growing online Ed.D program. More specifically, the program desired to improve the quality of the online experience for students. The objectives of this initiative were to: (1) train faculty and staff on the utilization of research-based best practices and processes for quality in the design of online courses, (2) provide internal resources and guidance to faculty in the implementation of research-based best practices for quality in the design of online courses, and (3) achieve external course review certification for all core and research courses in the Doctor of Education program. To date, objectives 1 and 2 have been successfully fulfilled and 13 of 14 courses have achieved certification with the final course under review.
