Kofi Lomotey
Kofi Lomotey is the Bardo Distinguished Professor of Educational Leadership at Western Carolina University. He has been a university profess or, department chair, provost, president and chancellor. His research inter ests include urban schools, African American students in higher education, and African American principals. He has published more than 50 books, artic les in professional journals and book chapters.
Jess W eiler
Jess Weiler is an Assistant Pro fessor and Program Director for the Educational Leadership Program at Weste rn Carolina University. She served as a Speech-Language Pathologist, Specia l Education Teacher, Assistant Principal, and Leadership Coach in PK-12 sch ools for over 15 years before moving into academia. She continues to serve as a Coach for ICS for Equity™ helping build systems-level, organizational equity capacity. Her research is focused upon leadership preparation and co mpetence for equitable and just schools.
